Bamburgh Castle- once the seat of the Northumbrian kings through the Golden Age- provides a spectacular site to discover Anglo-Saxon England.

Cross the causeway to explore the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, a truly magical place. This became the cradle of Christianity in England during the 7th century and was home to St. Aidan and St. Cuthbert. It attracted Viking raids and now attracts thousands of pilgrims per year.

There is no better setting to unearth the history and beauty of Northumberland.

Pick up from the location of your choice and drive to Lindisfarne: 9am (times may vary upon location)

Lindisfarne:

Bamburgh:
